Never ever mess with HER teddyI just finished watching 30 Days of Night and I must say, I am pretty impressed. I was having multiple orgasms throughout the film. I simply love the plot, carried over from the graphic novel, and the atmosphere of the old movie. There were lots of blood too and the little girl vampire, featured before this paragraph, is seductively amazing. They had everything I've ever wanted in a horror movie though the ending was a slight let down. I would've preferred if everyone died ala Quarantine but at least the main good guy did. I guess that was enough to satiate my tragedy-inclined preferences... for some parts.
I got the DVD, which of course had a lot of special features. The director, David Slade, was pretty humorous as a character and almost every cast member was featured. The actress who played the little girl vampire, Abbey-May Wakefield, was revealed to have done most of her stunts. The exception was getting decapitated.
I can not stress how awesome this movie is. There were buckets and buckets of blood, a head on a pole, burning buildings and the night! I am actually breaking my code to suspend all movie reviews until I can get the old batch up and ready with this entry. But who the fuck cares? THE LITTLE GIRL VAMPIRE WAS AWESOME!
