Bodies, dead bodies, everywhere!

Pathology was awesome! It didn't disappoint me one bit. It had sex, violence, gore and psychology. It could be Death Note in autopsies.

I like the psychological rivalry between Dr. Ted Grey (Milo Ventimiglia, Heroes) and Dr. Jack Gallo (Michael Weston, Miss This at Your Peril). On a certain level, they may have treated it as a friendly game of one-uppance but, obviously, when dead bodies are involved, nothing lasts that friendly for so long. It made me remember the relationship between Kira/Light Yagami and L/L Lawliet in Death Note as well as between Batman (Christian Bale, Public Enemies) and Joker (Heath Ledger, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus) in The Dark Knight. One exists to better the other.

As Joker puts it, "This is what happens when an immovable object meets an irresistible force."

In Death Note, both died. In The Dark Knight, both were catapulted into isolation (as with Joker being sent to Arkham and Batman becoming hunted). In Pathology, however, one survives but not without a single surprising help. I won't elaborate on that since it's a spoiler already but let's just say both lost in terms of living a full life.

It's interesting how rivalries can often be good, considering the growth of an individual in his performance, but too much of a good thing will always be too much. Obsession once again plays a vital role in exceeding decency. Too much ambition can put you in the wrong place. Greed is one of the seven capital sins, isn't it?

Either way, you guys should see the movie. It'll make you think as your blood curdles with every twist and turn. Blood, nudity, violence and mental stimulation through reverse psychology. It's a horrific thriller at its best. Alyssa Milano and Lauren Lee Smith were sexy. Trust me when I say, you shouldn't miss their sensual performance in this movie. I'm talking to the guys, of course. Michael Weston showed off his abs and Milo Ventimiglia displayed his derier in a couple of lustfully artistic scenes (most of which dominated by Smith), so women won't get bored of this as well. The question of nausea for the ones weak in the gut, however, will be left for your own discretion.

Vivisection, anyone?

30 Days of Night

Never ever mess with HER teddy

I just finished watching 30 Days of Night and I must say, I am pretty impressed. I was having multiple orgasms throughout the film. I simply love the plot, carried over from the graphic novel, and the atmosphere of the old movie. There were lots of blood too and the little girl vampire, featured before this paragraph, is seductively amazing. They had everything I've ever wanted in a horror movie though the ending was a slight let down. I would've preferred if everyone died ala Quarantine but at least the main good guy did. I guess that was enough to satiate my tragedy-inclined preferences... for some parts.

I got the DVD, which of course had a lot of special features. The director, David Slade, was pretty humorous as a character and almost every cast member was featured. The actress who played the little girl vampire, Abbey-May Wakefield, was revealed to have done most of her stunts. The exception was getting decapitated.

I can not stress how awesome this movie is. There were buckets and buckets of blood, a head on a pole, burning buildings and the night! I am actually breaking my code to suspend all movie reviews until I can get the old batch up and ready with this entry. But who the fuck cares? THE LITTLE GIRL VAMPIRE WAS AWESOME!

WATCH THIS NOW OR DIE!
