Ako Mismo

For the past two or so days, I’ve been obsessing over Pokemon… again. It started with a deviantID, a DIY digital card of sorts found mostly in deviantART to assert your identity… or something, which enables you to make yourself into a Pokemon.

Then I came across two Pokemon OC Tournaments. They were both engrossing, storyline-wise, but my inability to draw anything of worth hampered my confidence. Instead, I went around reading entries and battles like a complete stalker.

Figuring out that I was wasting time, I mustered enough man guts and signed up with the International Pokemon League. No. It’s not a real Pokemon Tourney. Pokemon isn’t real. It’s an anime, a manga and a game. Deal with it. The IPL is a fan made group of die-hard fans roleplaying as Pokemon trainers and battling each other via art submissions. Whether it be in comic form or in written word, the IPL accepts it all.

The first one, the PCBC (Pokemon Creative Battle Challenge) is underway and new entrants are not welcomed. There will be a PCBC 2 though so it’s going to be something I’ll look forward to.

Earlier today, I went back to my Catholic school to ask the Vice President of Finance, who was also a priest, to grant me permission to add two more theology subjects so I can graduate this year. If I can’t have the two subjects done by this first semester, I’ll probably be a summer graduate. Now, that’s all fine with me but my parents wanted me to be a regular graduate so I had to make the extra effort. Aside from that, I finally got my grades and they all look pretty okay. My lowest is a 2.0 and my highest are two 1.25s. Not bad for someone who rarely studies and participates in class.

Also, tomorrow’s AKO MISMO event is called DOG TAG DAY and it will be held at the Bonifacio Global City open field. There will be lots of bands playing though I won’t be present because I’m a sea away from the Metro.

What is AKO MISMO?

Yes, I am that lazy. I figured, since I’ve always been a fan of doing something for nothing, why not join the cause? It’s better than sitting around, complaining about the country’s current predicament.
