Back to Horror Anime Basics

So I still get easily distracted from my novel aspirations. Right now, I'm stuck on a rut because writing through a character's point of view isn't that easy, especially if a character is nowhere near who you are. Now, I'm thinking maybe I can get some much needed inspiration through anime. Unfortunately, the last anime I saw was Gintama, not to mention the immortal Naruto Shippuden, on ABS-CBN. Those do not help my supernatural/horror novel. Not one bit.

Here's a list of my favorite anime that borders on horror/supernatural:

I can't remember anything else so that's my top six right now. Any recommendations?

Shinigami Blues

I just wasted one whole day writing a Bleach Original Character Sheet. I say wasted because I know that I could have been doing something much more useful like starting on that supernatural series I'm trying to work on. It was probably all because of that new browser game I've been playing: Soul-Arena. If you happen to get interested and create your own account, add me up as jiserapio. It's quite similar to Naruto-Arena in mechanics but the characters and skills are more tuned in with Bleach.

Well, at least I'll probably write a single episode testing the character or something. He's like an aloof guy, reminiscent of Vash the Stampede with a touch of some effeminate male eye candy of sorts. It's always the same character archetype with me regarding anime-influenced OCs. I don't know. There's just something about an effeminate hero that strikes me deep in my writing veins.

...and his Zanpakuto's spirit is a dead nine year old girl. Enough said.
