An aspiring author and literary theorist, he spends most of his days locked up in his room writing or reading or even both. He loves language and literature and is in fact out to master them. Subscribe through this link or you can manually do so through the Subscribe Now option on the sidebar.

Experience:

He has previously worked for Level Up! Games Philippines and Philippine Star Supreme as a community writer and contributor respectively. He has been awarded online, specifically on Writerscafe and deviantART, by other writers and writer groups. Currently, he is on The New Dentists as one of its editors.

Education
:

Jofer is currently taking his last year of his Bachelor in Art's Degree in English (language and literature) at Aklan Catholic College. He has been involved with campus journalism from grade school to college - from Pilot Star (grade school) to Scholar's Gazette (high school) to Lifeline (college, WVSU-CON) to Aklan Collegian (college, ACC). He has won several awards during his tenure, named by PIA as its Most Promising Journalist of 2006, and is usually the Feature Editor if not the Editor in Chief himself. The workshops and seminars he has attended contribute a lot to his victories in the field. Recently, he was distinguished as a member of the Top Five Columnists in 2009's COPRE.

Personal Intro:

Language and literature are the two most powerful elements in an intellectual world. Their expression is the main key in keeping ourselves alive, impressions are but secondary functions that come instinctively. To shadow the former with the latter is a faulty appreciation of both the spoken and the written word. I believe that the pen is truly mghtier than the sword. The sword can dominate the physical body but the pen can control the universe. Someone once said, "Write to express, not to impress." To that I say, "Screw the universe. I have a pen."
