Vampire Sex

I was surfing the web earlier when I came upon this certain scene from HBO's True Blood, inspired by Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse Novels, which exemplies what basically makes horror horrific:

Anna Paquin Nude True Blood Season 2 - The best video clips are here

If you're a true blue horror buff like myself then you'd notice that most, if not all, horror stories usually have sex, violence and gore. There'll usually be couples having sex or, in it's place, a scene that just about screams, if not blatantly implies, sex. What's horror without violence? Someone gets hacked and slashed into tiny pieces of its former self. Victims die by getting killed (no duh?!) with just about every weapon a sadistic bastard can think of. Then there's gore. Gore. Gore. Gore. Can we even make horror without blood and deaths? The difference between gore and violence is but a thin line, with gore usually attributed to the product of sheer violence. Still, it all depend on what type of horror you're making, whether it's supernatural or psychological. Either way, it'll be fun. Let's go kill some Mary Sues!

By the way, yes, vampire sex looks pretty fucked up in real life but it sure looks better on animation. Though, I have yet to see an animated version of vampire sex. Sadly, this is my first vampire sex. Thankfully, I'm not writing vampire sex in my novel project. That'll just be like bestiality or necrophilia. Ewww.

Pepe out!
