Lunched Out

Because I was up late last night because of the Vice Presidential Candidates' Open Forum on ABS-CBN, I woke up at lunch time today. That cut my productivity rate, especially since later the afternoon I was already scheduled to get to school to finally receive my toga and programme for my graduation this Wednesday. The heat was still being a pain in the ass, as evident by my shorter than usual short fuse. Thankfully, everything came into place as I waited things out. I got my haircut, which lasted for about an hour (God, I hate these things), before we headed off to Seafront Bread Shop to enjoy a Neptune Pizza (mussels, shrimps and squid pizza). Mom, my sister Joy, my cousin Sherry and Khalleen were all there to enjoy the giant plate with me. It was a little unnerving how the waitress kept staring at me though. I think I might have reminded her of her little brother in the old country.

As of this time, all five of my recent literary deviations have been favorited once, with the exception of Life in Depression which now has three (3) favorites.

Writer Tattoo

I just uploaded Diamond Supernova last night and it now has six favorites! For me, that's already a big deal. It's also featured in two of my writing groups: Writers-Club and quill-cafe.

I'm still not finished with the 3rd scene of the first chapter of my attempted novel though so it's not that great of a week. I aim to finish it tonight but I've also got a runny nose and I feel tired so I might not succeed with that plan.

Tomorrow, I won't have classes but I'll be at school to do some things. I'll bring my laptop along so I can write my stories. 

Darn, I should have bought that flash drive with internet access!

Diamond Supernova License

I came up with a new poem earlier.

It's entitled, "Diamond Supernova". I was going to use the title "Colors" or "Color Supernova" but I decided to go with the aforementioned former just as I was about to finish the whole piece. I also decided not to publish it right away, taking a cue from `Beccalicious, to avoid whacking the first draft and give enough time to develop and edit the piece. So, instead, I published it on deviantART the night before I went to sleep. By publish, I mean put on my gallery. I don't mean that I got published with any consolation whatsoever. By consolation, I mean money, payment, and fame - even just a glint of which would be nice soon.

From my tone, you've probably figured out that I'm a little bit downhearted because of the continued silence with my writing but I'm not, I shouldn't be, too engrossed with the feeling because tomorrow will still be another day. I just need to hold on, keep fending off the quitterbugs and fight to survive with my writing determination, including my poetic and literary license, still in tact.

Why, yes, officer! I'd love to accompany you tonight while you go raiding dangerous drunks with guns with your other cop friends in the middle of the perilous night.

On another note, yeah, the Facebook and deviantshare widgets on this blog are being screwy again. Just installed a Yahoo! Messenger Ping Box recently so if you want to chat with me in private, you can now. Yes, the chat will be between us - just you and me - and you can be anonymous so it'll be fun...or whatever.
