I know I can't. I definitely can't.
I'm going to Boracay during the weekends to: a.) attend the final editing of this semester's Aklan Collegian issue; b.) attend a campus journalism seminar for my Finals grade in my Mass Communications and Campus Journalism class. Because I have two events to tend to, I'll "need excellent bilocating skills", as Mr. June Mijares puts it. Aside from that, I'll also spend energy, money and pride to endure the two events. The culmination of the duo is the White Mask Party, or something along those lines, which will require me to "bust my moves". Yes. Bust my nonexistent moves.
So, if people are actually reading this narcissistic cry for attention, please do not forget me when I die of embarrassment. Remember me as...err...well, I can't really think of anything for anyone (except the people I know IRL) to remember me by. Ah, well.
Just...uhh...don't desecrate my blog, k?

Also, I received my first rejection from Philippine Graphic earlier. My poetry didn't cut their standards - I really should upgrade my use of imagery - but my fiction has still a fighting chance when they get sent to the Managing Editor for evaluation. I would like to thank their Associate Editor, Alma Anonas-Carpio, for giving me a chance to get published. Although I failed my first shot, this isn't the end for me. I'll continue writing until I get better and get to the end. Thank you for my support system, composed of the most insane people ever, for always being in my corner. Another day, another page in this book we call life.
