MY EDITORIAL EXERCISE OUTPUT (contributed for the whole team, impressed the guest speaker :p)
As the country enters a new season of summer, we'll be expecting less water and more salt for all our troubles. The heat is bound to intensify with the El Nino looming just around the corner. The sudden surge of a powerful dry spell, compared to last year's show, will threaten the power grids all over. This is due partly to hydro power getting cut naturally short. This weak front will consequently be a giant threat to the much anticipated May 2010 elections, more so because of the new automated system. COMELEC has assured their defense of the outage but can mortal men really stop the onslaught of gods?

Note: This is, I'm guessing, based on fake facts. The mortal men and onslaught of gods are allusions to our artificial security and natural disasters respectively.
